Our beautiful summer dream - Poppy is everything you want for balmy nights. Made from 100% mid weight cotton voile, this billowing, blousy nightgown is as light as a feather with exceptionally pretty detailing like the white hand smocked, elasticated neckline and delicate flutter sleeves.
Main model is 5ft7, a UK Size 8 and wearing S0.
Take your normal dress size - size up if between sizes. Made to be a generous loose fitting style.
While this style is breastfeeding friendly, please note as with all elastic if stretched over long periods of time it may lengthen.

Maddie Beautiful nightie but runs so big! I wish I had gotten the smallest size. Very sheer which was expected and perfectly light and breezy to keep you cool on those hot summer days.

nic This is undoubtably a very pretty nightie and it's super comfy, however the cotton is incredible sheer/ thin and the smocking/ sheering is VERY basic and the construction is not as premium as I would have hoped at this price.
Thank you for your review and we so glad to hear you find the Poppy Plumbago comfy and pretty. The neckline is very carefully hand smocked by exceptionally skilled women in India and it is made from the softest cotton voile, which drapes and floats beautifully over the body. If you are looking for something less sheer we would suggest our cotton cambric or linen nightdresses. I hope you continue enjoy the comfort of your Poppy.

Sian White Poor quality for the price
Hello Sian and sorry to hear that the Poppy was not to your taste. Voile, which the Poppy is made from is the lightest cotton fabric, getting softer with each wash and we find that it's lightness is perfect for warm summer days. If you had a thicker fabric in mind we offer cotton cambric or linen nighties, which might suit you better. Wishing you a wonderful summer!
