As soon as I saw this nightdress on the website, I knew I had to have it. I wanted a long, old fashioned nightdress for a while, and whilst I had cotton ones, they didn't quite " hit the spot". I took the plunge and ordered Emily and waited. I would have liked it in yellow but it wasn't in stock in my size, so I opted for ivory. It didn't take long to arrive, and was beautifully presented and wrapped. When I opened the inner wrappings and held it up, it took my breath away.
I tried it on, and loved it immediately. It hangs and drapes beautifully ( despite being creased in the folds from being posted, they will come out ) and the fabric feels lovely against the skin, especially as mine is prone to being sensitive and itchy.
Makes you feel like one of the Crowleys from Downton Abbey. I may very well have to save the pennies for another in a different colour
